In Mahayana Buddhism, the five paths and ten grounds (bhumis) form the classic roadmap tracing the mind’s progression from ordinary confusion to full awakening. While often treated as distant, theoretical doctrine, this framework actually describes the underlying structure of genuine spiritual transformation.
Rather than treating these stages as abstract milestones, this course uses the traditional map to illuminate how practice works from the inside out.
In this course, participants will:
– Trace how understanding deepens—from intellectual study and conceptual insight to direct, unmediated experience.
– Investigate emotional liberation—distinguishing between temporarily suppressing disturbing habits and uprooting their underlying cause.
– Clarify the purpose of practice—using the traditional map to orient daily meditation, recognize subtle pitfalls, and understand where the path leads.
Join the course to transform your understanding of the path.
