Wisdom Debating Ignorance, Part One

This event is being hosted by our FPMT friends at Jamyang Buddhist Center London, England

Dates: Wednesdays, May 11– July 27 (no class on June 22 and July 6)

To get liberated from suffering samsara and achieve enlightenment, we need the realization of emptiness to eliminate ignorance. Understanding ignorance and realizing emptiness is not an easy task. Panchen Lama Losang Chokyi Gyaltsen discusses these two difficult points in a very clear, joyful and playful way in Wisdom Debating Ignorance. This text is highly recommended by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who stated on many occasions that he obtained a very clear understanding of emptiness after reading this text. Geshe Namdak has kindly agreed to explain this clear presentation of emptiness and the basis, path and result of Mahamudra according to the sutra system.

Is this for me?
To attend this course, it is helpful to have a basic understanding of Buddhist philosophy.

What can I expect?
A clear explanation of the philosophy of emptiness presented in a playful, story-telling-like commentary by one of the greatest masters in the history of the Tibetan tradition, Panchen Lama Chokyi Gyaltsen.
