Equanimity is generally defined as ‘the quality of being calm or even-tempered,’ but in Tibetan Buddhism, it can also refer to the attitude that considers all other beings in an equal light that is an essential component in generating bodhichitta, the mind that aspires to full enlightenment. In this course, we will examine the ways to develop equanimity towards all beings and practice this expansive way of thinking in everyday life to help ourselves become less biased and more connected to others.
This workshop is open to and appropriate for students of all levels.
