How to Use the Natural Law of Karma to Create the Reality We Want

May 15|7:00pm8:30pm MDT

We spend our lives being seduced by the outside world, completely believing that happiness and suffering are found outside of ourselves. Fundamentally we assume that we are the handiwork of someone else, either a superior being, our family, our circumstance. The experiential implications of this are blame, anger, and guilt, resulting in compounding levels of suffering and feelings of hopelessness.

The Buddha’s view of reality is that the universe exists within the natural law of cause of effect; of karma. The experiential implication of this view is empowerment, accountability, and the courage to change. When we combine that with an understanding of the Buddha’s model of the mind, we can gradually loosen the grip of ego-grasping and develop our amazing potential for clarity, self-confidence, empathy, as well as the other positive qualities that the Buddha taught are at the very core of our being.

In this course Ven. Robina will teach us how developing a deep understanding of the law of cause and effect can give us the tools to create the life we want by actually creating the causes for it within our own mind.
