In the teachings on the Middle Way, it says that the mind, and only the mind, is the creator of the world. Also in science, it has been recognized that the power of thought and especially of intention has an impact on our reality. How can we apply this knowledge to our daily practice?
During these three evenings we will talk about the importance of the intention that we generate for engaging in our practice and our daily lives, as well as look in detail at the different aspects of that intention. Why do we need to remind ourselves daily to set a positive motivation, and how do we set a motivation that is powerful and leads to happiness? We will discuss how we can create a proper bodhichitta motivation at the beginning of the day, and how we can sustain it during the day and apply it to our daily activities.
