BP: Engaging in the Bodhisattva’s Deeds (Supplementary)

June 20|7:00pm9:00pm MDT

Dates: Weekly on Thursdays, March 7th 2024 through July 25th 2024

The extraordinary attitude of the bodhisattva, who thinks only of others, is at the heart of Shantideva’s eighth century poetic masterpiece. The advice ranges in scope from simple, practical techniques for developing generosity and dealing with destructive emotions, up to the most refined discussion of ultimate truth.

As the test for course has already been given, this course is being offered on a supplementary basis for those who wish to finish the remainder of the text. New students who are interested in learning more about Shantideva’s Bodhisattvacharyavatara are also welcomed to join.

Since FPMT Basic Program study is not just for academic purposes but to ultimately increase our altruistic and kind attitude, it is important and expected that all BP students follow certain conduct guidelines as given in the document available here

In order to receive the materials for the course students must enroll as a listener or a or full time student. Please complete the form below to register and the materials will be provided.
